Key Responsibilities:
Requirements:
- Prepare monthly management accounts, cashflow forecasting, and annual budgets.
- Ensure timely and accurate statutory financial submissions.
- Process and authorise invoices and manage payments in line with company procedures.
- Perform GL account reconciliations and manage inter-company loan account reconciliations.
- Produce and present VAT, tax, and cashflow reports monthly.
- Support year-end audits with relevant financial reports.
- Maintain and manage the fixed asset register, reviewing utilisation and operational expenditure.
- Supervise and train creditors and debtors administrators.
- Provide sound financial advice to executive management.
- Review and maintain up-to-date financial policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- BCom (with Articles).
- 3-5 years of experience in a financial management role.
- Experience in budget preparation, reporting, and cashflow analysis.
- Knowledge of strategic and financial planning.
- Knowledge of the education or investment sectors (advantageous).
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and accounting software.
- Sound tax knowledge and application.
