About the job
Attend to all aspects of a horse breeding operation, feed, water, and care for horses. Examine horses to detect illness, injury, or disease. Handle and administer simple medical treatments such as worm and parasite control and administer vaccinations. Assist with horse breeding process and care for mares, stallions, foals, and babies. Feeding/gentling of foals, work in imprinting, doctor babies. Assist in farm grounds and stable up keep. Harvest hay in the fall. A split shift of 7am-1pm, 3pm-5pm, Monday through Saturday, 48 hrs per week.
