About the job
Duties may vary from time to time. Workers will be required to operate farm implements such Case tractors with GPS guidance for purposes of tillage, bedding, and other ground preparation activities for the winter planting season. Workers will also operate custom application equipment as necessary for the purposes of ground maintenance and prevention of weeds during the winter months. Workers will be expected to assist in the integrity of grain being stored in bins, so a working knowledge of operating bins is preferred. Servicing and maintenance of all farm equipment will be performed by workers, as well as day-to-day responsibilities including manual labor, miscellaneous duties in and around the shop, including but not limited to small tool work, torch welding, other routine machinery maintenance and repairs as need, maintenance of drainage and irrigation systems, and other daily shop maintenance.
