Electrical Engineer

Electrical Engineer (Entry-Level to 5 Years) – Consulting Engineering

We are seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer with 0–5 years of experience to join our consulting engineering team. This role offers hands-on experience designing building electrical systems while working alongside senior engineers and industry professionals across a variety of project types.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and development of building electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, low-voltage, and communication systems
• Support senior engineers in preparing drawings, specifications, and technical documentation using AutoCAD and Revit
• Perform basic engineering calculations, code research, and system layout under supervision
• Coordinate with internal engineering disciplines, architects, and external consultants to support project design and delivery
• Participate in project meetings, client discussions, and site visits as experience grows
• Contribute to sustainable and energy-efficient electrical design solutions

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering (Electrical/Lighting emphasis preferred)
• Internship or full-time experience with building electrical systems in a consulting or MEP environment is a plus
• EIT certification or progress toward EIT is preferred
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and exposure to Revit (Revit proficiency preferred)
• Familiarity or coursework with building codes and standards such as ICC, NEC, NFPA, and IESNA
• Strong communication, willingness to learn, and collaborative mindset
• LEED or green building knowledge is a plus
