About the job

Armis, the cyber exposure management & security company, protects the entire attack surface and manages an organization’s cyber risk exposure in real time. In a rapidly evolving, perimeter-less world, Armis ensures that organizations continuously see, protect and manage all critical assets - from the ground to the cloud. Armis secures Fortune 100, 200 and 500 companies as well as national governments, state and local entities to help keep critical infrastructure, economies and society stay safe and secure 24/7.

Armis is a privately held company headquartered in California.

As our first Enterprise Account Executive in Japan, you will be instrumental in establishing and growing Armis’ presence in this strategic market. You’ll inherit an active pipeline and existing customers, while also driving new business across Japan’s enterprise sector. This role has been created to keep pace with the significant demand for Armis solutions across APJ, where we’ve experienced triple-digit year-over-year growth. Your ability to navigate large, complex Japanese enterprises, build long-term trust, and deliver meaningful outcomes will be critical to success. Japanese fluency is essential; English proficiency is also required to collaborate with our regional and global teams.

What You’ll Do

  • Build on an active pipeline and existing customer base to accelerate growth in Japan.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer pain points, Japanese industry trends, and Armis’ unique value proposition.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives and key decision-makers, in some of the country’s largest enterprises.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with technical, marketing, and customer success teams to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline and forecast within SFDC, ensuring predictable performance.
  • Lead and coordinate your “pod” over time (BDR, Sales Engineer, Partner Manager, Customer Success) as we scale in Japan, ensuring consistent results: building new pipeline, onboarding new clients, and expanding within existing accounts.
  • Represent Armis at Japanese industry events, conferences, and client meetings to showcase our expertise and thought leadership.

What We Expect

  • Proven experience in enterprise SaaS or cybersecurity sales within Japan.
  • Demonstrated success exceeding quotas and managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles in large Japanese enterprises.
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and negotiation skills with the ability to engage at all levels, from technical teams to boardroom executives.
  • Native-level Japanese fluency and strong business English for regional collaboration.
  • Strategic, entrepreneurial thinker comfortable operating as the first boots on the ground in a high-growth market.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity, IoT, or SaaS solutions preferred.

The choices you make in your career journey matter.
