Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant primary school community in Plymouth on a part-time basis. Key Responsibilities: - Provide one-to-one support to targeted pupils, assisting with their specific learning needs in line with our school's inclusive ethos. - Support classroom activities and learning sessions, helping to implement planned lessons and ensuring all pupils are engaged and able to access the curriculum. - Support the development of pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural skills through positive interactions and reinforcement of school values. - Assist teachers with preparing resources, setting up learning environments, and managing classroom materials to facilitate smooth lesson delivery. - Promote a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment that encourages pupils’ confidence and independence. - Monitor and record pupils’ progress, providing feedback to teachers to inform planning and support strategies. - Support pupils during breaktimes and other activities, encouraging social interaction and inclusion. - Uphold the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promote the welfare of all pupils at all times.
