Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical and adaptable Business Intelligence professional to support the Senior Director of Commercial Strategy and Chief of Staff in driving key operational initiatives and strategic transformations within the Valuation Advisory business. This role requires a candidate with sharp critical thinking, exceptional data fluency, and the ability to translate complex insights into impactful business actions. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, working cross-functionally to enhance execution and inform executive decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Advanced analytical skills with hands-on experience using tools like Excel, Power BI, and SQL
Ability to break down complex business problems, synthesize findings, and communicate actionable insights
Deep understanding of business operations and performance metrics
Naturally inquisitive with a strong inclination toward evidence-based problem solving
Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and proactively drive outcomes
Project coordination or management skills are beneficial; coaching and support will be provided
Strategic Data Insights and Reporting – 65%
Design and deliver business intelligence solutions and dashboards, with Power BI as a key tool
Define data strategies that align with business priorities, identifying performance drivers and KPIs
Build and maintain scalable data infrastructure to answer high-impact business questions
Translate data into compelling narratives and visuals to inform senior leadership
Prepare reporting packages, performance summaries, and business decks for executive forums
Data Architecture and Governance – 15%
Lead efforts to enhance data integrity, accessibility, and governance across the business unit
Partner with data engineering and IT teams to integrate new data sources and maintain reporting reliability
Provide guidance on data structure best practices and scalable architecture
Operational Troubleshooting and Continuous Improvement – 20%
Investigate root causes of data and process issues, identifying short-term fixes and long-term solutions
Manage change requests, user support inquiries, and documentation of enhancements
Maintain an organized log of requests and resolutions to ensure transparency and accountability
Key Qualifications:
Minimum 8-10 years of experience in an analytical or operations-focused role
Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Engineering, Economics, or a related field
Expertise in Power BI and data modeling; proficiency in SQL and data visualization
Strong communication skills with an ability to influence through data storytelling
Familiarity with data governance, compliance, and security practices
Experience in high-growth, data-centric environments preferred
