The Role
We are seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to join our growing team in the Netherlands. This early-career role will focus on top-of-funnel activities, with a strong emphasis on building and supporting the ZeroTier Partner Program, sourcing and nurturing leads for channel and direct sales teams, developing and managing Router OEM relationships, and helping drive partner events across the EU.

This role is ideal for someone who is dynamic, proactive, and eager to grow their career in SaaS business development within the networking and cybersecurity space. You’ll collaborate closely with our Go-To-Market, Product, and Engineering teams, and work directly with partners to accelerate ZeroTier’s growth.

While this is a hybrid role (remote/on-site) located in the Netherlands. We encourage you to apply for this position if you are located near to our office at Utrecht Central Station.

What You’ll Do

  • Support ZeroTier’s Partner Program through lead sourcing, outreach, and relationship nurturing.

  • Conduct daily outreach to qualify prospects who have demonstrated interest.

  • Build and maintain partnerships with Router OEMs and technology ecosystem players.

  • Assist with the planning and execution of partner and industry events in the EU.

  • Qualify and manage inbound and outbound leads, working closely with the Sales and Marketing teams.

  • Track, measure, and report on activity to help optimize outreach and engagement efforts.

  • Discern buyer intent and partner with channel and direct sales teams to get the right customers onboarded.

  • Work closely with CS and GTM teams to clearly communicate critical top-of-funnel feedback and suggestions that help optimize segmentation, content and propositions.

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–3 years of experience in business development, partner development, or sales development (B2B SaaS or tech preferred).

  • Strong communication skills in English (Dutch or additional European languages are a plus).

  • Familiarity with CRM/automation tools (HubSpot or similar).

  • Comfort engaging with technical topics such as networking, VPNs, cybersecurity, or the ability to learn quickly.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.

  • Willingness to travel domestically or internationally for partner and industry events.

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • Knowledge of additional languages (ex. Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Japanese, Korean) are also a plus.
