Description

At UVeye, we're on a mission to redefine vehicle safety and reliability on a global scale. Founded in 2016, we have pioneered the world's first fully automated suite of vehicle inspection systems. At the heart of this innovation lies our advanced AI-centric technology, representing the pinnacle of computer vision, machine learning, and generative AI within the automotive sector.

With over $380M in funding and strategic partnerships with industry giants such as Toyota, Amazon, General Motors, Volvo, and Hertz, our technology is utilized in manufacturing plants, dealerships, wholesale auctions, delivery fleets, seaports, and more. Our growing global team of over 200 employees is committed to creating a workplace that celebrates diversity, encourages teamwork, and strives for excellence.

You will be the Data Analyst for our U.S. Dealership business. Turn UVeye scan and RO/DMS data into actions that grow service revenue and advisor adoption. Build Looker and BigQuery dashboards, define KPIs, and own light ETL with firm data quality. Partner with Customer Success, Sales, and Product to run analyses, experiments, and alerts that lift throughput and customer experience. Automotive retail or vendor experience, or clear knowledge of dealership service operations, is required.

A day in the life and how you’ll make an impact:

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and identify analytical requirements.
  • Design, build, and maintain business dashboards and reports using SQL, Looker, and BigQuery.
  • Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
  • Conduct thorough data analysis to derive actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Present findings to stakeholders through clear and compelling visualizations and reports.
  • Continuously learn and stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data analysis.

Requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Automotive retail, dealership, or automotive vendor experience, or a demonstrated understanding of the automotive industry (required).
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for complex querying and data manipulation.
  • Experience with data visualization tools, particularly Looker, is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Google BigQuery or similar big data platforms is a significant plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A strong desire to learn and grow, coupled with a deep interest in understanding business processes and needs.

Ideally, we’re looking for:

  • Experience in dealership operations or automotive SaaS vendors.
  • Hands-on Looker (models, Explores, dashboards) and BigQuery.
  • Strong SQL across large, messy datasets; performance tuning.
  • Practical ETL skills (dbt or equivalent) and data quality frameworks.
  • Experimental mindset: A/B testing, pre/post, causal basics.
  • KPI design for service drive: scan rate, close rate, missed revenue, cycle time.
  • Familiarity with DMS/CRM platforms (Reynolds, CDK, Tekion, VinSolutions).
  • Clear visuals and crisp storytelling for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bias to ship: iterate quickly, document logic, and standardize across rooftops.
  • Bonus: OEM program reporting, forecasting, and alerting at scale.

Benefits we offer:

  • Competitive Medical, Dental, Vision.
  • Company 401k Match.
  • 20 PTO days, Company paid holidays.
  • Career growth as we scale across the US.

Compensation:

UVeye provides salary ranges that comply with the New Jersey State Law on salary transparency in job advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, qualifications, skills, location, education, and operational needs.
