The role drives awareness of requirements across business units, evaluates real-time data to identify substandard systems processes, serves as a thought leader for technical business processes, and develops systems prototypes to increase efficiency and productivity. Responsibilities include creating and implementing precise management plans for projects with transparent communication, performing quality assurance at every stage of systems development, determining and developing user requirements for systems in production to ensure maximum usability, and partnering with stakeholders across business units to develop analyses and documentation. The analyst evaluates, analyzes, and communicates systems requirements on a continuing basis; maintains systems processes including monthly status reports; authors and updates internal and external documentation; conducts daily systems analytics to maximize effectiveness and troubleshoot problems; and develops relationships with partners for optimized systems integration with research-backed recommendations. Acting as a Subject Matter Expert on energy & utility pre-sales and delivery, the role requires understanding of electricity and water demand, generation, transmission, and distribution, contributing domain expertise to demos, prototypes, and use cases, and supporting evaluation of compliance, efficiency, and sustainability requirements specific to Abu Dhabi’s power and water sector (regulator and operator). The position complies with QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety and Environment), Business Continuity, Information Security, Privacy, Risk, Compliance Management, and Governance of Organizations policies, procedures, plans, and related risk assessments, leveraging tools and capabilities such as Microsoft Visio, Power BI, Kibana, and industry-standard power system analysis platforms (PSS®E, DIgSILENT PowerFactory) to interpret sector data sets (load forecasts, generation dispatch, water production and power flows) and translate them into actionable requirements aligned to Abu Dhabi and UAE energy-water regulatory frameworks and Net Zero 2050 initiatives.
