Assistant Professor or Instructor of Mathematics. Appointment beginning Fall 2025. A minimum of a Masterâs degree is required. The successful candidate will have experience teaching Math courses at the college level and have a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching of both day and evening classes. The teaching load is twelve (12) contact hours per semester. Student advising, mentoring and participation in campus committees are expected. USC Salkehatchie is part of University of South Carolinaâs Palmetto College which involves offering four-year degrees through multiple forms of course delivery and learning, such as two-way video delivery (videoconferencing) and online learning (Blackboard or similar course management system). Summer teaching opportunities are available, depending on funding and curricular need.
A minimum of a Masterâs degree is required. The successful candidate will have experience teaching Math courses at the college level and be approved through the USC Columbia Math Department.
PhD. in Mathematics preferred
