Job Description:
The University of Toledo Judith Herb College of Arts, Social Sciences, and Education is seeking an assistant lecturer in teacher education with expertise in English language arts instruction for preservice teachers and experience supporting language arts instruction in PK-12 settings. The successful candidate will teach courses in methods of language arts, participate in course assessment and revision, and maintain currency in language arts instruction and teacher preparation guidelines. The candidate will be encouraged to establish and maintain connections with local schools.

Minimum Qualifications:
Required qualifications include: a master's degree in teacher education, curriculum and
instruction or related field, three years of experience in supporting language arts in PK-12
settings, and the ability to communicate effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
A doctoral degree, experience in preservice teacher education, and experience teaching with online platforms is preferred.
