About the job
Our Company
At Leo, we’re building a platform that will 3x ads ROI for marketing teams. Our AI agents handle everything from account audits and performance analysis to creative ideation and production to ad buying, using real-time data, AI, and trad machine learning to deliver higher performing campaigns at a fraction of the cost of traditional agencies. We will replace all ad agencies.
Your Role
We’re hiring an Applied AI Engineer to help us take our agentic systems to the next level. You’ll be designing systems that plan, simulate, and act — ones that learn from feedback and evolve over time.
You’ll work closely with our engineering, data, and media teams to build tools that go straight into production. If you want to build something truly novel in AI-application space and see it ship fast, this is the place to be!
What You’ll Do
- Building intelligent agent workflows that combine LLMs, tool use, and memory
- Creating simulation environments so agents can test, learn, and improve
- Applying NLP, computer vision, and neural networks to real marketing challenges
- Connecting your AI systems to campaign planning, creative generation, and analytics
- Running experiments with prompting, fine-tuning, and model chaining
- Using results to improve performance and help the system get smarter over time
What You Bring
- Experience working with neural networks, pattern recognition, or agentic systems
- Strong Python skills (and general software engineering chops)
- Hands-on experience with LLM platforms like OpenAI, Anthropic, Google
- Solid background in NLP and transformers (or a hunger to learn fast)
- Experience with simulations, RL, or systems that reason
- Problem-solving mindset — someone who can move from idea to prototype quickly
- A degree in CS, AI, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Comfortable collaborating with a fast-moving, cross-functional team
Why It Matters
- You’ll be building the brain behind our flagship products. The stuff you create will be used every day — by our team, by our clients, and by the system itself as it learns.
- You'll get 120k-300k cash comp + meaningful equity
