About the Role:
We are seeking a professional to join the Investment Operations team to support the daily operation and contribute to business growth.
This role will work closely with the Investment and Trading team to support the full trade lifecycle including cash transfer, settlement, reconciliation and to address any potential issues that may rise.
Additionally, this role will work closely with custodian and fund administration team to review daily NAV and support fund operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute cash transfers, payments, trade settlements, and follow up with external counterparties to ensure transaction completion.
Perform daily reconciliations for transactions, positions and balances, investigating and resolving all exceptions.
Partner with internal stakeholders, external counterparties and custodians to resolve cash and trade workflow errors, facilitate timely settlement and minimize potential failures.
Perform daily NAV oversight, accounting reconciliation, fee calculations and accept nightshift.
Continue to improve efficiency and controls by automation, process improvement, and control enhancement
Support ad-hoc operational tasks and projects across various teams and functions
Skills and Qualifications:
2+ years’ of hands-on experience in Investment and Fund Operation within asset management industry.
Highly organized and detail-oriented with a commitment to the accurate and timely execution of all tasks.
Ability to rapidly master new procedures and work autonomously to complete daily responsibilities.
Strong risk awareness and the judgement to escalate issues promptly and appropriately.
Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Programming skillset is a plus, such as VBA, python, RPA tools, etc.
