Account Executive
The Account Executive is instrumental in driving Veyer and ODP's engagement with a focus on delivering tailored solutions to our 3PL customers. This role will be responsible for identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities, nurturing and expanding existing customer relationships, and surpassing sales targets through strategic and proactive sales initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker who can bridge the gap between customer needs and our advanced 3PL services, specifically in distribution, fostering long-term partnerships through our solution-oriented approach.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities to expand our market presence and achieve sales goals.
- Proactively engage with potential partners on behalf of the ODP Corporation to understand their logistics and distribution challenges, proposing customized, innovative solutions that align with their objectives.
- Collaborate with internal team members to design proposals that articulate the unique value proposition of Veyer's services, addressing the specific needs of each client.
- Maintain and share expert knowledge of the trends, challenges, and opportunities to position Veyer as the preferred solutions provider and in support of the ODP Corporation.
- Work alongside cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of sales strategies, optimizing client satisfaction and operational excellence.
- Deliver insightful analysis on engagement activities, solution effectiveness, and market feedback to the Vice President of Solutions Engineering, contributing to the continuous improvement of Veyer's offerings.
Education and Experience:
- Level of Formal Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Area of Study: Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum Years of Experience: 2
- Type of Experience: Background in sales, 3-5 years' experience in the supply chain distribution services space
- Technical Competencies & Information Systems: Proficient in CRM software and sales analytics tools to track performance and make data-driven decisions.
- Skills & Abilities:
- Experience in a high-velocity environment, with a preference for backgrounds in logistics, 3PL, or distribution services.
- Expertise in employing strategic frameworks and methodologies to guide the solutions development process.
- Exceptional relational skills, demonstrating a high EQ in navigating complex business discussions and fostering meaningful partnerships.
- Robust analytical abilities, with a knack for translating complex client requirements into actionable solutions.
- Language Skills: Well-spoken and possessing exemplary writing skills
