Account Manager
Freshs Wood Agency Inc., an independent insurance agency with over 150 years of history, is looking for a remote Account Manager to build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with our personal and business insurance clients. You will be the main point of contact for your assigned accounts, helping clients understand their coverage, processing policy changes, and ensuring they receive timely, professional service. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys communication, organization, and problem‑solving, and who wants to grow in the insurance industry while working from home.

Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of personal and/or commercial insurance clients. Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, and online channels in a timely and professional manner. Review client policies, identify coverage gaps, and suggest appropriate updates or additional products. Process policy changes, renewals, cancellations, and new applications accurately and efficiently. Coordinate with carriers and internal teams to resolve billing, claims, and coverage questions. Maintain accurate records and documentation in the agency management system/CRM. Proactively follow up with clients before renewals and after key life or business events. Support sales efforts by identifying cross‑sell and up‑sell opportunities when appropriate. Collaborate with teammates and share best practices to support a positive, client‑focused culture.

1–3 years of experience in customer service, account management, or a similar client‑facing role (insurance experience is a plus but not required). Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; comfortable handling client calls and emails. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; able to manage multiple client requests simultaneously. Basic understanding of insurance concepts (personal or commercial lines) or strong motivation to learn quickly. Confident using computers, CRM systems, email, and basic office tools (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets). Proven ability to stay calm, professional, and solution‑oriented when dealing with difficult situations. Self‑motivated and reliable in a remote work environment, with good time‑management skills. Positive, team‑oriented attitude and a strong customer‑service mindset.
