KCH Staffing Solutions is hiring a remote Senior Technical Recruiter to support difficult U.S.-based searches across engineering, manufacturing, environmental, technical, and leadership roles. This is an independent-contractor position for approximately 20 hours per week, with potential for increased ongoing hours based on measurable recruiting results.
The recruiter must be available primarily during 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Central Time and must actively conduct live candidate screening calls, not just source resumes.
Compensation is $9 USD per hour.
Key responsibilities
- Source and engage qualified U.S.-based candidates for engineering, manufacturing, environmental, technical, and leadership roles.
- Build targeted Boolean searches and sourcing strategies for difficult technical recruiting searches.
- Contact and engage passive candidates professionally through appropriate recruiting channels.
- Conduct live candidate screening calls with strong spoken English and recruiting judgment.
- Evaluate candidates beyond résumé keywords, including qualifications, compensation, location or relocation, work authorization, availability, employment gaps, and motivation.
- Maintain complete ATS documentation, candidate tracking records, follow-ups, and screening notes.
- Communicate clearly with KCH Staffing Solutions on candidate quality, search progress, blockers, strategy adjustments, and next steps.
- Track recruiting activity, candidate progress, and measurable outcomes consistently.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience recruiting U.S.-based engineering, manufacturing, environmental, technical, and/or leadership professionals.
- Applicant must personally have an active LinkedIn Recruiter Lite account at minimum; a full LinkedIn Recruiter account is also acceptable. A standard LinkedIn or LinkedIn Premium account alone does not meet this requirement.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Reliable high-speed internet and a professional calling setup.
- Strong Boolean search, passive candidate outreach, and sourcing strategy skills.
- Strong ATS documentation, candidate tracking, and screening-note discipline.
- Ability to conduct live candidate screening calls, not only sourcing or résumé collection.
- Availability to work approximately 20 hours weekly, primarily during 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Central Time.
- Acceptance of $9 USD per hour.
