DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for an experienced WordPress Developer to lead the redesign of our current website and build a brand-new platform that will elevate our online presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, excellent technical skills, and the ability to create a seamless user experience. The new website will need to showcase our real estate listings, design services, and upcoming magazine, while integrating modern functionality, responsive design, and optimized SEO practices.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Redesign and optimize the current website to improve user experience and aesthetics.
- Build a new WordPress website, incorporating key features such as property listings, design studio showcases, a blog/magazine section, contact forms, and mortgage calculators.
- Develop and implement responsive designs to ensure optimal performance on mobile, tablet, and desktop devices.
- Integrate property management tools, search filters, and customizable real estate listing templates.
- Collaborate with the founder to ensure branding and messaging align with company goals.
- Optimize the website for SEO and performance to ensure fast loading times and a high ranking on search engines.
- Implement and maintain e-commerce functionality for any future service or product offerings.
- Provide technical support and ongoing maintenance for the website post-launch.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer, with a strong portfolio of website redesign and development projects.
- Proficiency in front-end development languages: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Experience with WordPress themes, plugins, and page builders such as Elementor.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and website optimization techniques.
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles to enhance user engagement and experience.
- Experience integrating APIs, payment gateways, and real estate listing features.
- Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Yoast SEO, and other performance-monitoring platforms.
- Ability to work independently, manage timelines, and deliver high-quality work on schedule.
