About the job
• Take ownership of the user interface and user experience design for UpGuard's website, ensuring a consistent, intuitive, and visually appealing experience across all pages and devices
• Drive the design and user flow for online tools, calculators, and other interactive/programmatic content
• Work hand-in-hand with developers to ensure designs are technically feasible and implemented accurately
• Collaborate with marketing, content and SEO teams to optimise page layouts for performance and discoverability
• Participate in user research, A/B testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions and iterate to improve engagement and conversion rates
• Contribute to and maintain the website's design system and style guides to ensure brand consistency
• Design with web performance and responsiveness in mind to ensure fast loading times and optimal display on various screen sizes
Requirements
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Web Designer, specifically with a strong portfolio showcasing successful design projects for SaaS websites
- Demonstrable expertise in both User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) design principles
- Hands-on experience designing online tools, calculators, and programmatic or interactive web content
- Excellent ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team and manage stakeholder expectations
- Strong skills in industry-standard design tools (e.g., Figma)
- Innovative problem-solving and creativity with ability to translate business requirements into design solutions
- Understanding of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and CMS tools (preferred)
- Experience with animation and micro-interactions (preferred)
- Familiarity with A/B testing platforms and analytics tools (preferred)
- Experience working in growth marketing (preferred)
- Experience working in a cybersecurity or B2B tech environment (preferred)
- Self-starter attitude with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to undertake a national police history check and reference checks prior to starting
