We are looking for a Test Engineer to join our team. You will upgrade and maintain our test systems. You will work onsite at our Devens MA office, reporting into the Test Engineering Manager.
Role and Responsibilities

Create test stand code to control test systems, implement safety triggers, and add new instrumentation

Use process engineering principles to troubleshoot and solve test stand trips

Participate in Hazard and Opportunity (HAZOP) studies to define test system safety controls

Source specific components including mechanical hardware, sensors, and other instrumentation to meet test stand needs

Respond to test stand trips during nights and weekends

Take ownership of projects and work

Evaluate P&ID's and process diagrams for fluid systems

Integrate new hardware into test systems

Coordinate with EHS on test stand safety
Qualifications

Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or Automation Engineering

3+ years of relevant experience

3D CAD software experience

MATLAB, C++, Python, or other programming language proficiency

Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and experience.
