Job Title: Test Engineer Location: Strasbourg (80% onsite/20% remote) Job Type: Contract B2B/Freelancer Daily Rate: €450 per day for onsite work/€350 for the remote days worked We have an exciting opportunity to join a very long term project at a at an European Union Institution based 80% of the year in Strasbourg/20% working remote. We are looking for a Test Engineer who has experience in the following fields: Minimum 6 years of relevant IT experience Minimum 4 years of automated and manual software testing experience, and experience with Automation Testing tools (e.g., TOSCA), Test Management tool (Qtest, QC), Requirements and Defect Management tools (Jira) Keen interest on quality and intense attention to detail Ability to analyse results of testing correctly and to report on them efficiently Knowledge of software development and testing methodologies Tasks will include: Produce test design specifications – test cases, the applicable Test Plans and to execute the test plans Design test scenarios to ensure 100% coverage of requirements; prepare test cases (the ones which cannot be automated) and automated test scripts to test the identified scenarios Conduct automated and manual tests to ensure the software created by Lot 2 is defect-free Execute the required test cases and analyse the results Report on the test results The daily rate before tax for remote and onsite are below: Onsite rate = €450.00 Remote rate = €350.00 Are the daily rates ok for you?
