Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain user manuals, product documentation, API guides, installation instructions, and system documentation.
- Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), including developers, engineers, and product managers, to gather technical information and ensure the accuracy of content
- Translate complex technical information into easily understandable and actionable content, making sure it aligns with user needs and knowledge levels.
- Organize and structure content to improve accessibility, usability, and navigation.
- Stay up to date with new technologies, tools, and industry best practices to continually enhance documentation quality.
- Develop content templates, style guides, and best practices to ensure consistency across all documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of professional technical writing experience.
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Ability to understand and simplify complex technical concepts
- Proficiency in various documentation tools and software
- Attention to detail
