Job Description:
Prime stakeholder of the development and delivery team responsible for overseeing that
software development runs smoothly by understanding the customer’s need, project
planning, effort and cost estimation, size and duration estimation, project staffing, risk
identification and mitigation, quality assurance, and delivery of the final product.
Role & Responsibilities:
• Primary stakeholder to coordinate with Business/Product unit team and the team of
developers and designers of this CoE and responsible for the overall execution of the
project within defined time, quality and budget.
• Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant
stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
• Help the team understand the problem the app would solve for its users along with
determining the solution to the problem.
• Coordinate between internal and external stakeholders for the flawless execution of
projects. Coordinate effective communication with all stakeholders throughout the
process.
• Owner of the complete software development process with an eye for latest tech
adaption and improving process efficiency.
• Should be able to structure all workflow process in application development and
come up with effective plan leading to productive work and quality result, ensuring
an excellent understanding of the project at hand and the priorities of the business/
product units affected by any change in plan/deliverables.
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Assembling project plans, identifying resource needs and appropriately escalating
any issues with the right stakeholders.
• Handing out assignments to the development team, setting terms for sprints, and
prioritizing tasks.
• Should be okay to play the role of Scrum master as part of agile team and be
responsible for status reporting, communicating changes, risks, project plans and to
identify any missing roles along with overlooking the complete sprint cycle.
• For each delivery, ensure resource availability, allocation and strategic roadmapping
(identifying and planning list of tasks to be completed during each sprint).
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress, manage changes to
the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification
techniques.
• Tracking key project milestones and adjusting project plans to meet the need.
• Managing budget and timescales effectively building strong working relationships
with all key stakeholders.
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, report and
escalate to right stakeholder as needed.
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks (technical risks, monetary risks,
scheduling based risks) and eliminate them in timely manner.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentations. Preparing the business
case and showing the impact of a project in terms of costs, savings, revenues, and
benefits.
• Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short
and long-term goals.
• Being passionate about knowing, learning as well as sharing new industry trends in
mobile app development.
Skills & Abilities:
• Experience with different project management methodologies like waterfall and
agile with the scrum or kanban frameworks
• Hands-on experience creating/maintaining project initiation documents, lessons
learned report, gantt charts, scope statements, weekly status reports and other
project management related documentations.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, project management tools (Jira,
Trello, Kissflow, Asana, Slack etc.) and techniques.
• Following qualities are desired: leadership, planning and tracking, effective
communication and negotiation, good time management, teamwork/player,
analytical and curious mindset, good in risk identification and mitigation, good
organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking abilities
