We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our growing team at Cheadle Hulme Primary School. In this rewarding role, you'll play a vital part in supporting pupils with a variety of learning needs. You'll work alongside teachers to provide one-on-one or small group support, and empower pupils to reach their full potential.

You will play a vital role in enhancing pupils progress whilst promoting their independence, self-esteem and social inclusion. A comprehensive offer of professional learning is in place and we ensure that all schools have designated work spaces for staff. A broad range of training in SEND is in place across all our schools focus on whole school SEND issues as well as specific training for SEND teams.
Job Purpose
- Provide in class support for pupils to enable them to make progress as directed by relevant teachers, delivering small group and one to one intervention programmes.
- Work collaboratively with all members of the team, to support the welfare and personal development of pupils.
Key Skills and Experiences
- Sound Educational background including GCSE's in Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent.
- Good knowledge and understanding of play and how to create opportunities for a wide range of ages and interests.
- Experience working in a school environment would be an advantage.
