The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support students with SEND in and out of the classroom.
- Promote inclusion, independence and engagement in learning.
- Assist teachers with classroom management and lesson delivery.
- Provide feedback to students, teachers and parents/carers.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment activities and supervision duties.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Experience working with children of relevant age or learning need.
- GCSE grade 4 (grade C) or above in English and Maths.
- Basic ICT skills and understanding of learning recourses.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Desirable:
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
- Willingness to undertake further training and first aid.
- Understanding of child development and relevant educational policies.
