The Science department is housed in a single area of the school with 11 dedicated laboratories, a number of which have been upgraded in recent years and enjoys excellent resourcing levels. The Science department has a long history of excellent academic outcomes, especially at KS4, and a very strong uptake of the Sciences at A-Level.
At Hellesdon High School we are committed to an evidence-informed approach and a strong subject specific basis to our CPD programme.
