About the job

Our client is an award winning market leader within the retirement village sector. After a period of significant growth and development, they are continuing their ambitious plans with the addition of a Tax Manager to their Nottingham team. Supporting the Head of Tax, this is a generalist role in which you will cover a spectrum of tax obligations, including the preparation and filing of corporate tax returns, VAT queries, requests and registrations, PAYE issues, IR35 queries, and various reliefs relevant to the nature of the business. We are looking for a Tax specialist who has worked at Manager level, either in practice or in-house. You will need sound knowledge of corporate tax issues, and experience of working with large groups is highly desirable. You be ACA/CTA qualified, or equivalent, and will be committed to working with accuracy, integrity and accountability. This is an excellent first move in-house and a great opportunity to cover the breadth of taxes found in commercial enterprises.
