Tasting Room Associate

Full job description

Part-time: 10+ Hours/Fixed, Days TBD, Shared Tips, Additional Shifts Based on Business Needs

Oversee all daily business functions in the tasting room - responsible for opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS accounting.

Ensure all sanitation and safety practices are implemented and followed in the bar, kitchen, restrooms, tasting room, and outdoor patio. Maintain a clean workspace.

Maintain regular and good communication with Kitchen Associate on kitchen order status and availability of menu items. Properly communicate wait times to customers. Remove menu items from menu magnet board when items out of stock and add when back in stock. Assist with food preparation when needed.

Ensure that the Tasting Room Bar and walk-in are fully stocked with back up supplies and kegs, and that the Tasting Room fridge is fully stocked. Work with Tasting Room Manager on maintaining liquor and beer inventory.

Re-stock Tasting Room products and merchandise shelves, as needed.

Serve and educate customers ensuring the highest level of customer service. Maintain a positive atmosphere for customers and employees.

Maintain the highest level of product knowledge and expertise; stay up-to-date with all products and procedures.

Have good time management skills to balance customer service with tasting room duties.

Other tasting room related duties as assigned.

Requirements: Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, push, pull, and lift cartons/bins weighing up to 20lbs each; ability to lift full kegs or assist with lifting full kegs (up to 160lbs); ability to stand for extended periods of time.

Pay: From $15.50 per hour
