Job Description/Responsibilities
The Talent Acquisition (TA) Operations Manager will lead the strategic direction of Sazerac’s talent acquisition infrastructure—driving innovation through data, technology, and process excellence. This role is responsible for leveraging analytics to shape talent attraction and retention strategies, managing end-to-end project execution for key recruiting initiatives, and ensuring a seamless, unified candidate experience.
The TA Operations Manager also acts as the central point of coordination between HR Operations, recruiting teams, cross-functional stakeholders, and system vendors—while serving as the iCIMS System Administrator to enable scalable, growth-oriented recruitment processes.
Experience ideally in 3 areas: iCIMS/ATS configuration, vendor management and project management.
Key Responsibilities:
Data, Analytics & Reporting
- Collaborate with recruiting leadership to capture and analyze recruitment data.
- Translate analytics into actionable insights to support hiring strategy and business goals.
- Prepare executive-ready presentations to communicate key findings and trends.
Technology Implementation & System Administration
- Serve as iCIMS System Administrator, partnering with HR Operations and external vendors to optimize system performance.
- Implement and manage new technologies across the recruiting tech stack to enhance user experience and drive efficiency.
Compliance & Process Governance
- Develop and enforce recruiting compliance strategies that align with internal policies and employment regulations.
- Ensure TA practices adhere to federal, state, and local employment laws.
Leadership & Talent Development
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing, customer-focused TA support team.
- Drive a culture aligned to Sazerac’s growth and performance goals through regular feedback, PDS reviews, and professional development initiatives.
- Champion the use of the Professional Development System (PDS) to evaluate skills, track progress, and shape team development plans.
- Promote Sazerac’s culture across all recruiting operations and practices.
Operational Excellence & Project Management
- Lead the standardization and execution of project management frameworks and knowledge-sharing structures across recruiting teams.
- Oversee strategic initiatives from concept to implementation, ensuring alignment with business priorities and recruiting team execution.
Budget & Resource Management
- Track and manage the TA department’s annual budget and expenditures.
- Monitor service delivery performance and resource allocation across the TA support function.
Learning & Career Development
- Leverage the Career Development System (CDS) to identify training needs and design development programs that build internal talent pipelines.
- Provide feedback to leadership on experiential learning opportunities to support career progression.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 10+ years of work experience, including prior experience working with recruiting teams and ATS data
- 5+ years’ relevant experience iCIMS/ATS configuration, vendor management and project management.
- 5+ years of experience with data analysis, project management, and tech implementations in recruitment.
- iCIMS admin or “super user” experience.
- Ability to consult with business partners and translate complex business analyses into concise, clear, and compelling executive-level recommendations
- Experience with data tools, knowledge of statistical analysis, and advanced excel and PowerPoint skills
- Well-developed business acumen, with an affinity for data exploration, analysis, and working with business intelligence tools
- History of analytical team leadership, communications, and building collaborative business partner relationships.
- Act as a change agent and effectively utilize change management practices when leading projects and indirect reports.
