The Boring Company was founded to solve the problem of soul-destroying traffic by creating an underground network of tunnels. Today, we are creating the technology to increase tunneling speed and decrease costs by a factor of 10 or more with the ultimate goal of making Hyperloop adoption viable and enabling rapid transit across densely populated regions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct site visits and perform structural observations
  • Read and interpret structural and architectural drawings
  • Prepare clear, concise technical reports
  • Draft and model structural elements in Revit
  • Perform structural analysis and modeling using SAP2000
  • Conduct structural design and calculations using Tekla Tedds

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (with emphasis in structures)
  • Completed courses in: Concrete, Steel, or Masonry Design

Additional Requirements

  • Full time in person position; non-remote or hybrid
  • Role is based in Las Vegas, NV. Will require candidate to live in, or relocate to Las Vegas.
