About the Role:
As a Staff Tax Accountant, you will work in a hybrid capacity from Shrewsbury, MA, reporting directly to the Partner. This is a full-time role that requires both technical expertise and a collaborative spirit to meet the diverse financial needs of our clients.
How you will contribute:
- Prepare and analyze individual and business tax returns using the CCH Axcess Suite and other advanced software.
- Develop strategic tax planning solutions to optimize clients' financial outcomes.
- Conduct forensic engagements and business valuations to address complex financial challenges.
- Collaborate with a team of over 20 professionals in a supportive and dynamic environment.
- Stay updated on tax laws and regulations through webinars, seminars, and research.
- Analyze projections and financial statements to guide clients in making informed decisions.
What we need from you:
To succeed in this position, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification is preferred but not required.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Staff Tax Accountant, with an emphasis on tax planning and analysis.
- Proficiency with CCH Axcess Suite, QuickBooks, Outlook, and Microsoft Office products is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a focus on accountability and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to craft strategies that enhance clients’ tax positions and business growth.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.

Schedule: Monday - Friday (Saturdays during tax season, as needed)
Work Location: Hybrid flexibility with a home base in Shrewsbury, MA.
