About the Role
A leading multinational construction company is seeking a highly experienced Sr. Manager (or above) in Business Development to lead strategic growth initiatives for large-scale infrastructure projects in Bangladesh.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in tendering, prequalification (PQ), proposal development, and contract management for mega infrastructure projects, with a strong understanding of the construction and energy sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage business development activities for major infrastructure projects including MRT, BRT, Road, Bridge, Airport, Seaport, LPG/LNG Terminals.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with government and autonomous authorities such as DMTCL, BBA, BR, RHD, and others.
Prepare and review Prequalification (PQ), Tender, and Project Proposal documents.
Conduct market intelligence, competitor analysis, and develop business strategies and plans.
Review and analyze contract documents for large infrastructure and energy projects.
Prepare EOI, NDA, MOU, and other business correspondence.
Draft comprehensive reports, letters, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Manage and mentor a business development team, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Requirements
🎓 Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
💼 Minimum 15 years of experience in business development within construction, energy, or infrastructure sectors.
Proven experience in MRT projects and coordination with DMTCL.
Strong interpersonal, networking, and leadership abilities.
Excellent proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and fluency in English (spoken and written).
