Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Specialist Structural Engineer. The ideal candidate will bring over 15 years of structural engineering experience in the oil and gas industry, with a strong focus on offshore facilities, including platforms, jackets, topsides, and subsea structures.Key Responsibilities
- Lead and review structural engineering deliverables for offshore oil & gas projects
- Perform structural analysis and design for offshore platforms and related facilities
- Review and approve technical documents, drawings, and calculations
- Coordinate with other disciplines (e.g., piping, process, mechanical)
- Ensure compliance with international codes and client specifications
- Support project planning, design reviews, and risk assessments
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers
- Interface with clients, vendors, and third parties as required
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum 15 years of relevant structural engineering experience in the oil & gas industry
- Proven offshore project experience (e.g., fixed platforms, FPSOs, jackets, subsea structures)
- Strong knowledge of relevant codes (API, AISC, DNV, ISO, etc.)
- Proficient in structural analysis software (e.g., SACS, STAAD.Pro, SESAM)
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Able to work independently in an office-based engineering environment
