Your opportunity:
As a Construction Engineer, you will join the FP Engineering team, a multi-disciplinary unit focused on supporting operational FPSOs. This role positions you at the technical heart of offshore production, directly contributing to the reliability and advancement of our client's floating assets.
You will be responsible for delivering the engineering output for FPSO modification projects, working closely with the Offshore Construction Supervisor to define labour, materials, tools, and services needed. Your mission is to ensure smooth planning and execution of offshore construction work scopes, aligning with safety, budget, and time constraints. This is your chance to contribute to projects that maintain and enhance a fleet of complex FPSOs in challenging offshore environments.
What you will do:
- Drafting and completing Offshore Work Packages (OWPs), handling Offshore Queries (OQs),
- Coordinating work orders and purchase requests in Maximo
- Collaborate with Offshore Construction Supervisor to define execution strategy
- Coordinate required materials, services, and resources
- Act as a focal point and manage subcontractors
- Ensure deliverables meet the company's quality and documentation standards
- Manage close-out documentation including review, editing, and approvals
- Work closely with FP Engineering disciplines, HSEQ&RC, and asset teams

What you already have:
- BSc. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Marine, or Electrical Engineering – or MBO with relevant certifications and training
- Knowledge of Mechanical- piping systems is a plus but not required
- +5 years of relevant working experience in complex construction projects (Oil & Gas, Offshore)
- Working experience as a Project Engineer or Workplanner can be beneficial for this role
- Working knowledge of Maximo is a plus!
- An analytical and solution-finding approach, since you will be the one solving engineering and operational puzzles
- Excellent communication skills and fluent English, so you can communicate efficiently with your multicultural team, authorities, and clients worldwide
