About the role
Ondo Finance is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join our team at the intersection of product, engineering, and business development. This is a high-impact, customer-facing role responsible for enabling successful integrations of Ondo’s products and protocols with external developers, clients, and partners.
You’ll act as a technical advisor, problem solver, and solutions architect—embedding with key partners, building proof-of-concepts and internal tooling, and helping external teams go from zero to one with our systems. This hybrid role combines elements of developer relations, solutions engineering, and product management.
You’ll partner closely with BD, Product, Engineering, and our executive team to shape both the technical integration experience and the long-term roadmap.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the front-line technical partner for customers, helping them integrate and scale with Ondo’s onchain products and infrastructure.
- Write light code (e.g. Bash, Python, JavaScript) and smart contract interface snippets to support onboarding, proof-of-concepts, and integrations.
- Create technical content, including documentation, tutorials, example repositories, and internal tools to improve onboarding and DevX.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to improve SDKs, APIs, and other integration surfaces based on real-world usage and customer feedback.
- Work with Business Development to scope technical solutions for potential customers and unblock existing relationships.
- Act as the internal voice of the customer to help prioritize features and shape product roadmap.
- Establish scalable processes, playbooks, and metrics for supporting a growing partner ecosystem.
Who you are
- A cross-functional builder with experience in engineering, technical product roles, or developer success—especially in startup environments.
- Capable of writing light code, debugging integrations, and communicating technical concepts clearly to both engineering and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong communicator with an ability to explain complex systems and create clear documentation and onboarding materials.
- Deeply curious and product-minded—you think about the full user journey and how to remove friction at every step.
- Comfortable operating autonomously and partnering directly with customers in high-stakes technical engagements.
- Familiarity with DeFi, crypto protocols, or financial APIs is a strong plus—but not strictly required.
