Join us as we continue to redefine how people find their perfect match through technology. ### About the Role We’re looking for a  **Software Developer**  who loves solving problems, takes complete ownership of their work, and thrives outside their comfort zone. You’ll be working on building and scaling applications using  **TypeScript, Node.js, AWS, and Docker** , with plenty of opportunities to experiment and innovate. If you’re passionate about coding, have a critical eye for how applications work end-to-end, and love leveraging AI tools (like Codex, Cursor, SWE agent, or other LLMs) to work smarter and faster — this role is for you. ### Responsibilities * Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js and TypeScript * Work with AWS services (S3, EC2, Lambda, etc.) to deploy and manage applications * (Bonus) Collaborate on and maintain PHP-based legacy systems when needed * Take complete ownership of assigned tasks — from requirement analysis to production deployment * Apply critical thinking to improve application logic, performance, and scalability * Use AI coding tools and LLMs efficiently to boost productivity, research, and problem-solving * Think creatively and suggest out-of-the-box solutions to technical challenges * Continuously learn new technologies and adapt to changing project needs ### Requirements * **6 months to 1 year**  of hands-on development experience in a professional or internship setting * Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and backend development using Node.js * Familiarity with AWS (S3, EC2, Lambda, IAM, etc.) * Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments (Docker) * Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically about system design * Comfortable and fluent in using AI-powered developer tools (Codex, Cursor, SWE agent, Copilot, etc.) * (Bonus) Exposure to PHP * Excellent communication and collaboration skills * A growth mindset — ready to step outside the comfort zone, take challenges, and learn fast ### Nice to Have * Experience with frontend frameworks like React or Next.js * Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases * Understanding of DevOps workflows and cloud-native architectures * Prior experience in a startup or fast-paced environment ### Why Join NikahForever? * Work on product impacting millions across India * Use cutting-edge tech and AI-powered tools to supercharge your development workflow * Take ownership and build systems at scale * Collaborate with a driven, passionate team that values innovation * Flexible hours, medical insurance, and a people-first culture * Scope for rapid growth and learning in a fast-moving startup ### From the Founders' Desk At NikahForever, technology is more than code — it’s the backbone of human connections.
