What you will do:

- Conduct Child and Family assessments to ensure the welfare and safeguarding of children.
- Chair core groups and Child in Need meetings to support vulnerable children and their families.
- Prepare reports and plans for children in care, ensuring their needs are met and reviewed regularly.
- Attend PLO meetings and provide valuable insights.
- Write court evidence and appear in court as required to advocate for children and families.
- Assist children and families who are under Child in Need, Child Protection, and Public Law Outline protocols.
- Perform additional social work tasks as identified by your manager to support the effectiveness of the team.
