The Black Promoters Collective (BPC) is seeking a Social Media Manager to lead our social media and digital campaigns across national tours, festivals, and brand campaigns. This is a full-time contractor role for a creative, data-driven marketer who thrives in fast-paced entertainment environments and knows how to turn fan excitement into engagement and ticket sales.Responsibilities:Develop and manage the master social media content calendar across all BPC tours, festivals, and brand channelsSupport creation of social content (static, video, stories, reels) in collaboration with internal teams and external creativesPlan, execute, and optimize digital and programmatic ad campaigns (social media and display) based on event needs and sales goalsDeploy and manage email marketing campaigns, including creation, scheduling, and performance trackingUpdate and maintain website content, ensuring timely posting of events, announcements, and campaign assetsMaintain and update the email marketing database to ensure list accuracy and growthUpdate and manage advertising spend and marketing budgets in PRISMSubmit monthly and event-specific marketing reports to Finance for show settlementsPrepare weekly social media and email performance updates for internal staff meetingsMonitor and report on key metrics (engagement, reach, conversions, ROI) with actionable insightsStay current with platform updates, trends, and best practices across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other relevant channelsAttend live events as needed, providing real-time content coverage Ensure all social and digital strategies align with brand voice, event positioning, and ticket sales goalsQualifications3-5 years of experience managing social media, paid digital campaigns, and email marketing (live entertainment, concerts, or sports preferred)Strong knowledge of Facebook Ads Manager, Google Display Network, TikTok Ads, and email platforms (Mailchimp, Klaviyo)Familiarity with WordPress or Shopify for web updatesExperience using PRISM or other budget-tracking software (preferred)Skilled in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (preferred), and social scheduling tools (e.g., Sprout, Hootsuite)Excellent communication and visual storytelling skillsOrganized, detail-oriented, and financially literateWilling to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as event schedules requireWhy Join BPC?The Black Promoters Collective is reshaping the future of live entertainment through culture-first programming, global growth, and innovation.
