TTM Healthcare are currently recruiting a Service Manager on behalf of a Disability service based in South Wicklow.
Operating as a member of the Regional Team, the Service Manager will manage, lead, and develop both the residential and community-based services. The Service Manager will be committed to achieving the highest standards of excellence and ensuring the continuous improvement of standards, safety, quality, and service delivery, in line with the organisational and regional team objectives.
The Service Manager will also take on the role of PIC (Person in Charge) for HIQA purposes.
Contract: Full time permanent – 37 hours per week
Location: South Wicklow
Salary: € 54,123.11 -€ 66,077.75
Closing date: 23rd of September @5pm
The successful candidate will:
- Hold a third-level degree in a relevant field.
• Possess a management qualification.
• Have at least 3 years of line management or significant supervisory experience in the disability or broader personal social services sector.
• Have experience delivering training to staff at all levels.
• Be able to demonstrate strong, evidence-based decision-making skills.
• Be computer literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• Have the necessary documentation to work and reside in the Republic of Ireland.
• Hold a full, clean driving license and be willing to travel to other services, family homes for assessments, and work outside of normal hours as required.
• Be fluent in both spoken and written English.
• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Be able to maintain composure in challenging situations.
• Demonstrate awareness of current developments in inclusion and individualisation in Ireland and internationally.
• Understand best practices in providing person-centred services and be sensitive to the challenges faced by individuals with physical disabilities and neurological conditions.
• Possess a thorough knowledge of HIQA national standards as they relate to adults with physical disabilities.
