About the job
Responsibilities:
- Identify new business opportunities in the African market and secure contracts for engineering projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the region.
- Form relationships with new clients and ensure the satisfaction of existing clients.
- Coordinate closely with the technical team within the organization to ensure alignment and achieve sales targets.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the company's engineering services and product portfolio to effectively promote and sell them.
- Provide technical expertise and support to clients throughout the sales process.
- Collect and analyze market intelligence to inform the company's sales and marketing strategies.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to represent the company and identify new opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
- 4-5 years of experience in sales engineering, preferably in the FMCG, automotive, packaging, food & beverage, or detergents industries.
- Fluent in English and Arabic; proficiency in French is preferred.
- Proven track record of securing contracts and building strong client relationships.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout Africa.
