Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Quantitative Trader to lead a high-performing trading team and drive our crypto market making operations. This role demands a hands-on leader who excels at both practical trading execution and team development. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in building and optimizing trading systems, with a focus on immediate market opportunities rather than theoretical strategies. You should have a very entrepreneurial mindset. You will directly manage a lean team of quants and traders while maintaining significant personal responsibilities. Success in this role requires a builder's mindset - understanding and designing systems end-to-end, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing practical enhancements. We prioritize candidates who demonstrate a track record of rapid strategy deployment and realistic market-making approaches over purely academic experience.
Responsibility
Trading & Strategy:
- Design and execute automated trading strategies across spot and derivatives markets on centralized and decentralized trading platforms
- Identify and capitalize on cross-exchange arbitrage and market inefficiencies
- Optimize trading performance and risk management
- Focus on implementable strategies over theoretical approaches
- Enhance existing trading systems and infrastructure
Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of 3-5 quantitative traders and developers
- Drive strategy development and implementation
- Manage capital allocation and risk parameters
- Foster innovation while maintaining operational excellence
