The Data Lifecycle Management (DLM) team in Purview leads the development scalable solutions that support data lifecycle and compliance across M365 surfaces. As a product manager in this team, you will be responsible for driving the strategy, roadmap, and feature prioritization for compliance capabilities that deliver exceptional reliability and performance. Your focus will be on defining product requirements that enable compliance and data lifecycle management across OneDrive Sharepoint. You will collaborate closely with engineering and solution teams to facilitate rapid onboarding and maximize customer satisfaction, while continually iterating on product features to meet evolving market needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing or developing product / services, preferably in the security and/or compliance space • Deep sense of customer/user empathy • Highly skilled at cross-org collaboration & effective communication across disciplines/groups • Technical curiosity and aptitude to quickly master service capabilities, technical issues, business trends, and customer needs • Motivated to work with and leverage internationally distributed development teams • Bachelor’s + degree in computer science or related fields

Responsibilities

Identify User problems/Product opportunities based on user behavior • Define feature specs to clearly map out customer problems with feature requirements and the success metrics. • Collaborate with distributed teams to deliver features & enhancements and iterate • Monitor progress of the product/feature throughout the development lifecycle, identifying risks and opportunities, keeping key stakeholders informed • Drive analysis and support of investment decisions and offer business perspective to influence key strategic decisions • Proactively identify issues that impede business group success and providing solutions / recommendations • Monitor the success of the product features by actively monitoring product metrics and translate to team KPIs & success.
