About the job

At Flarion, we’re building cutting-edge Big Data software in an era where data processing is paramount. We're well-funded and are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Product Manager to join our core team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of shaping and delivering high-quality, user-facing products that are intuitive, scalable, and solve real customer pain points.

About the Role:

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the definition and development of our data observability product. This is a high-ownership, hands-on role that reports directly to the CEO. There’s no VP of Product above you — you own it end-to-end.

You’ll work closely with engineering, design, and users to deliver a product that gives data engineers and platform teams clear visibility into distributed workloads, so they can work faster, reduce costs, and scale with confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the full product lifecycle: strategy → definition → execution → launch → iteration
  • Drive customer discovery and translate insights into crisp product decisions
  • Define the product vision and roadmap for data Observability
  • Work with design and engineering to build intuitive, developer-friendly tools
  • Write clear product specs, use cases, and user stories
  • Define and track KPIs to measure adoption, value, and engagement
  • Represent the customer internally and support key go-to-market efforts
  • Balance speed with technical and UX trade-offs to deliver smart, lean solutions

Who This Role Is Perfect For:

  • You’ve built 0→1 products from scratch, and loved it
  • You’re energized by owning product direction independently, without layers of management
  • You thrive in fast-paced, high-trust environments
  • You don’t just think in features, you think in use cases, jobs-to-be-done, and value
  • You’re motivated by impact, ownership, and hard problems

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in SaaS Product Management
  • Clear communicator with strong written and verbal skills
  • Experience working directly with engineers, designers, and users
  • Comfortable working independently and reporting directly to the CEO

Bonus Points For:

  • Former software engineer or researcher with strong technical intuition
  • Familiarity with metrics, logging, and monitoring platforms
  • Experience with Data processing frameworks
  • Exposure to performance tuning, monitoring, or cost optimization tools
  • Academic background in CS, Engineering, or Data Science

Why Join Us?

  • Help shape the future of Big Data infrastructure
  • Collaborate with an exceptional engineering and founding team
  • Build products from scratch with real customer pull
  • Join a well-funded startup at a pivotal inflection point
  • Enjoy a highly competitive salary and equity package
  • Full ownership, full visibility — your work will be seen and felt

If you're excited about owning a core product in a fast-moving startup solving real infrastructure challenges, we'd love to meet you:)
