Your new role
As the Senior Management Accountant, you will:
- Complete the monthly P&L and Balance Sheet to first-review stage, highlight variances to budget and respond to queries
- Lead the annual budgeting process in partnership with budget holders and stakeholders
- Assist with the overhead cost forecasts and oversee month-end intercompany reconciliations
- Import and consolidate for group reporting
- Report monthly and quarterly and compile the month-end board pack
- Act as primary liaison for group queries, external auditors and the internal tax manager
- Support external filings and lead ad-hoc projects
What you'll need to succeed
- Fully qualified ACA, CIMA or ACCA
- Strong grasp of general accounting processes, internal controls and month-end routines
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, PivotTables)
- Experience with multi-currency reporting
- Sharp attention to detail, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to plan, prioritise and deliver against tight deadlines
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset and willingness to ask for help when needed
- Flexibility to travel and to work outside core hours occasionally
