The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation, with hands-on experience in SaaS, SSO, MDM, Networking, and Automation. You will be the go-to person for end-user operations, managing IT SaaS Apps, office infrastructure, and developing automation to streamline and improve our Business workflows and IT operations. This hybrid position requires you to be in the Tokyo office at least three days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Systems Engineering and Automation:

  • Provide technical support for client IT systems such as Okta, Jamf, Slack, Google Workspace, Confluence, and Zoom, including their integrations.
  • Ensure efficient onboarding orientation and offboarding for users, including provisioning and deprovisioning access to IT systems.
  • Work closely with global ITS team members to design & implement technical solutions, manage operations and resolve issues. Maintain and enhance internal IT documentation.
  • Configure and manage SaaS applications, and optimize business system integrations and IT workflows using automation tools and frameworks.

User Support and Troubleshooting:

  • Act as a key point of contact for end-users across the APAC region, providing expert-level support and troubleshooting for technical issues. Collaborate with global teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Manage and resolve system incidents, requests, and service disruptions related to client systems, office conferencing and network equipment. Participate in a weekly on-call rotation.
  • Develop automation solutions to reduce end-user support ticket volume.

Qualifications

(Must-Have):

  • 5+ years of overall experience in IT Systems Engineering.
  • 4+ years of experience with SSO tools (Okta, Google).
  • 3+ years of experience with MDM tools (like Jamf, Kandji, Intune) and managing MacBooks.
  • 2+ years of solid experience in IT automation in Python or automation tools such as Workato, Tines or Zapier.
  • Excellent communication skills in Japanese & English (both written and verbal).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with a customer-focused attitude.

(Nice to Have):

  • Experience with Jira ITSM ticketing management and Confluence documentation.
  • 2+ years of experience with Google Suite, Zoom Rooms and Slack administration.
  • Have a good understanding of Agile and Scrum processes
  • Experience working with AI tools

If you are passionate about client systems & automation and want to contribute to a collaborative and forward-thinking IT environment, we encourage you to apply.

Our Dedication to You:

We value and promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in all aspects of our business and at all levels. Success comes from acknowledging, welcoming, and incorporating diverse perspectives.

Diverse representation alone is not the desired outcome. We also strive to create an inclusive culture that encourages growth, ownership of your role, and achieving innovation in new and unique ways. Your voice will be heard, and we will help amplify it.
