Our Opportunity!

We are looking to hire an experienced Senior Frontend Engineer to supercharge our products for our customers.

Our rapidly scaling Vet SaaS platform, which powers hundreds of vet practices daily, offers a unique opportunity for a Senior Frontend Engineer to contribute to the end-to-end operations of these businesses. Our Frontend team is responsible for building all features on the customer side of our products.

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will be an integral part of our collaborative team, working closely with our Product leads, Engineering Management, and Customer Success teams. Together, we will build accessible and scalable products with quality code at their core.

What you will do:

• Lead our Frontend engineering team, ensuring deliverables are met for Company Objectives
• Drive engineering best practices with the team, leading on code reviews, pair programming and sprint planning
• Contributing to the design and development of new products and features. Implementing scalable, responsive layouts using React
• Ensuring that engineering processes are followed whilst maintaining product quality for our customers
• Develop testable, accessible, and maintainable React components by leveraging tools like Storybook.js
• Collaborate with Product to ensure features/changes meet business requirements and deliver against Product OKR’s
• Work closely with designers and other engineers to understand new features, dependencies, and technical details

Your Experience:

• You have extensive experience developing front-end software with the latest frameworks and technologies.
• React and JavaScript (Or TypeScript) are your preferred programming languages.
• You have reached a Senior Engineering level and confidently operate at this level across your code, stakeholder management and operational delivery.
• You are solution-driven with the ability to understand the big picture of the product you build.
• You have built ground-up features with test strategies and sprint milestones.
• You are motivated in a player-coach role. Most of your experience will be as a Senior Engineer, with experience as a team lead.
