Our Opportunity:
Snyk, a leader in developer security, has recently acquired Probely, a modern Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) provider based in Portugal, with coverage of API security testing and web applications.
As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Snyk, you’ll be challenged to create reusable, high-performance, reliable, and scalable User Interfaces while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. We’re looking for individuals who are passionate about crafting exceptional software, solving complex problems, building the building blocks, and driving innovation.
You’ll Spend Your Time:
- Analyzing requirements, specifications, and technical design documents in preparation for development.
- Developing and implementing highly responsive user interface components that support new or existing features.
- Working with the different teams to discuss and implement technical solutions, fix and identify bugs.
- Implementing tests for any developed software.
- Providing mentorship to more junior engineers and playing a role in growing the next generation of engineers at Snyk.
What You’ll Need:
- 5+ years of professional Software Engineering experience
- Proven work experience with React JS
- Good knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and CSS
- Experience with Webpack
- Effective communicator both verbally and in writing. Able to work collaboratively, be curious and have a growth mindset.
- Ability to lift the performance of a team through coaching and mentoring of more junior engineers.
