Cortex is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join their team. This role involves building high-performing, complex front-end features that enhance the user interface of their developer portal. The ideal candidate will collaborate with other team members to ensure the product remains up to date with the latest frontend technologies. This is a remote position, welcoming candidates from anywhere in the United States.

Design, implement, maintain, and improve the user interface for the developer portal.

Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to create new features and enhance existing ones.

Write clean, maintainable, and testable code in accordance with best practices.

Continually improve the planning, development, and deployment processes.

Ensure the product is up to date with the latest frontend technologies.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.

5+ years of professional experience in frontend engineering, focusing on creating modern and intuitive user interfaces.

Understanding of fundamental design principles for responsive and user-friendly applications.

Strong proficiency in modern frontend technologies such as React and TailwindCSS, and experience with complex single-page applications.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.
