About the job
As a key, senior member of the local Finance Team the objective of this role is to mainly support the team from a local compliance perspective while actively participating in monthly financial reporting and assist with the monitoring and challenging of internal controls.
- Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts
- Compile Malta VAT Returns and VAT Recapitulative Statements
- Compile VAT reports for external tax consultants to submit VAT Returns for foreign VAT Registrations.
- Ensuring secretarial compliance with MBR incl BO Declarations, Annual Returns etc)
- Compliance with Transfer Pricing regulations
- Compile surveys and other documents required by the NSO
- Liaise with banks (local and foreign) on KYC exercises.
- Assist with compilation of other statutory applications and documents (eg government grants)
- Assist with cashflow monitoring and forecasting.
- Assist with Finance Audits
- Prepare adhoc reports.
- And any other tasks assigned by supervisor
