Senior finance executive is responsible for monthly consolidation and preparation of the consolidated financial statements. You play a pivotal role in supporting external audits and business partnering with local finance teams, other corporate and business functions on a regional level. You are also required to support ad-hoc projects such as coordinating regional projects to drive workflow improvements/ automation, strengthen internal controls and/or enhance efficiency.
Your Adventure Ahead
- Involvement in Group Audit, which includes but not limited to quantification of revenue & COGS, consolidation and preparation of Group financial statements.
- Assist in preparation of monthly Group management accounts.
- Identify and implement workflow improvements to strengthen internal controls and/or enhance efficiency.
- To perform other ad-hoc duties as required.
Essentials to Succeed
- At least 3 years of relevant experience, including preferably experience in a Big 4 audit firm.
- Strong hands-on experience in financial reporting, month- and year-end closing and handling group accounting issues and group audit.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with different teams
- A self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, analytical and problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for detail
- Independently diagnose and identify data quality issues and work with other teams to find solutions
- Past experience working in technological start-ups is preferred
- Knowledge of IFRS and SFRS
- Proficient in Excel, including preferably experience in SQL and accounting system (e.g. Netsuite)
- Demonstrated use of Generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Cursor) to develop new or improve workflows, enhance productivity, and drive efficiency at scale.
